The difference between "はずです" and "つもりです"

There is a homework for me to describe the difference between "はずです" and "つもりです"

In my opinion, the difference between "はずです" and "つもりです" is as follows,

When to useusing "はずです", the speaker or the writer has thean opinion or guess.
However when to useusing "つもりです", the subject of the sentence has the will.

We can usually talksay "明日は雨が降るはずです。", because the speaker has thea guess or the opinion.
We don't usually talksay "明日は雨が降るつもりです。", because "雨" doesn't have thea will.

We can usually talksay both "彼は怪我したから次の試合に行かないつもりです。" and "彼は怪我したから次の試合に行かないはずです。".

But their background arecontext is difference.
If we talksay "彼は怪我したから次の試合に行かないつもりです。" , the speaker knows the will of the subject of the sentence.
And if we talk "彼は怪我したから次の試合に行かないはずです。" ,
the speaker has the opinion or the speaker guesses thatit.

やはり、小生の英作文がいかに間違っているのかが分かり、
①文章を書いてみる。
②添削された文章を分かりやすく残しておく。
③繰り返し復習する。

こういう経験を積むことが、ミスを減らすことにつながるのだと思います。
